This study investigates the challenges faced by individuals who are blind or visually impaired and explores how emerging technologies can address these barriers. Through user-centered research, a prototype will be designed and evaluated to inform future designs. This design will also draw on relevant HCI theories such as Multiple Resource Theory (Wickens, 2008) and be subject to iterative feedback. Currently, I am in the process of conducting individual interviews to facilitate a set of design requirements. Initial paper submitted to CHI 2026.
