I am an undergraduate student at Le Moyne College, majoring in Information Systems & Business Analytics. I’m interested in how AI and other emergent technologies can be applied to enhance accessibility for those with disabilities. Following the completion of my undergraduate degree, I intend to pursue my master’s in Information Science, where I will continue to study this topic.

I’ve had the opportunity to learn about how different technologies are shaping our world today, and through both internships and my research, I’ve had the opportunity to apply many of these ideas to real-world problems.

Trained and deployed machine vision systems in industrial settings and achieved 98.4% accuracy on a test dataset.

I conduct ethnographic research on assistive technologies for individuals with visual impairments under the supervision of Dr. Jean-Philippe Rancy. My work includes leading participant interviews to identify design requirements and community challenges, as well as designing and prototyping functional solutions to improve accessibility and overall user experience.

NYSTEC, Rome, NY | Aug 2024 – Dec 2024
I conducted research on the use of artificial intelligence within government agencies through semi-structured interviews and analysis of publicly available data. Based on this research, I developed evidence-based recommendations to guide how NYSTEC can support government clients in adopting emerging technologies. I also completed formal training in Design Thinking under the supervision of Dr. Danya Maniccia, emphasizing user-centered problem solving in public innovation contexts.
Controls Engineering Intern

I developed and deployed quality assurance systems using Rockwell and Wonderware software, increasing annual revenue by over $400,000 through improved product usability. I led the standardization of HMIs across the facility, reducing maintenance time and improving system security. I also supported plant networks, PLCs, HMIs, servers, and machine vision systems to ensure reliable MES operations, reviewed vendor proposals, and contributed to disaster recovery planning for new equipment installations.

I trained and deployed machine vision systems using Cognex software to improve container identification and inventory flexibility. I reviewed and developed PLC programs using ladder logic, coordinated the installation of new AV equipment to enhance security and teleconferencing capabilities, and led planning for a water trial initiative projected to save over $15,000 annually.
